From the very beginning, my conviction was clear — the immigration journey should never be an obstacle, but a driving force toward employment, dignity, and integration.
My Journey as an Entrepreneur
My name is Hervé Samou, and I am the President and CEO of RIB‑D Corporation. Since June 11, 2026, I have been an active member of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), allowing me to contribute directly to the governance and strategic direction of the organization. This involvement reflects my commitment to innovation, transparency, and civic participation.
My entrepreneurial path in Canada was strongly shaped by my training in the Parcours entrepreneurial pour immigrants francophones (PEIF). This intensive 20‑week program, offering more than 100 hours of online training, individual coaching, and valuable networking opportunities, played a decisive role. It provided the structure, tools, and confidence needed to transform an idea into a viable business — the foundation upon which RIB‑D Corporation was built.
My Roots and Inspirations
I am originally from Cameroon, where I developed a deep passion for renewable energy and sustainable development. As the founder of EVAT Solar Cameroun, I led innovative projects despite significant financial challenges. These experiences taught me an essential lesson: real impact comes from concrete actions on the ground.
They also strengthened my belief that qualified employment is a key to dignity, stability, and progress. This conviction guides RIB‑D today — offering newcomers real job opportunities, practical training, and a supportive environment where everyone can grow and succeed.
